A Nightmare On Elm Street ( Freddie Krueger) - I'm not a hardcore horror fan so I was free to watch this for pure entertainment. As such it was pretty good. My fiance liked it and that was the most important factor for me. Would I pay to watch it again? Only if she wanted to badly enough and I don't see that happening.

    Re: Last movie you watched

A Nightmare On Elm Street (B+) Best horror movie Remake yet. Lots of "JUMP" scares. Anyone who doesn't jump during this is trying to not let it happen, and making the point of the movie void. get popcorn and enjoy the flick with the sound turned up you'll jump a few times, or you'll be tensed up waiting for the scares if you do this when you go watch a horror movie you dont' need to go watch them... thats what they are there for to make you jump!

After Freddy Killed the guy and is torturing him in the Dream world still (after hes dead) Freddy takes a single Claw down his body and says something to the tune of "the brain functions for 7 minutes after the heart stops we still have 6 minutes to play" thats freddy right there.. He gets off terrorizing his victims. I still miss Robert Englund

Iron Man 2 (C) The story was pretty weak, and the ending is VERY anti Climactic, that said Robert Downey Jr. Is so entertaining as Tony Stark to not enjoy this movie. I think they could have waited another year tweeked the script and made it more exciting (but I guess they got The Avengers to do etc...) so its more less building up to that movie I felt. was it me is Mickey Rourke THE MAN! The characters I loved from the first movie are still as fun to watch, but the end left me wanting a ... real fight between Ironman and Wiplash.. IDK...

Robin Hood (A-) My only complaints was Maid Marion is obviously some warrior CHICK who doesn't ride side saddle.. maybe it wasn't around back then Id on't know.. I didn't think woman rode with both legs over the horses till the 1900?s, and they Rewrote history about the demise of King Richard. Other than that Story wise I think it was nice making the movie aabout the story of before he was "Robin of the Hood" the guy who steals from the Rich and Gives to the Poor.

    Re: Last movie you watched

I grade movies more in a "cagagory" mind set. I don't expect to see an epic adventure movie and I graded it as a "Horror" Movie, and IMO there hasn't been a better horror remake than A Nightmare on Elm Street.

    Speaking of Epic Adventure

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (A) I just watched this with my dad, and its was really well played! I've read mixed stuff about this flick.. so I was skeptical about seeing it in theaters, but what better to do on the weekend.. My hats off to the filmmakers who could have easily squeezed this movie into 2 Hour and a Half long movies with the second film being a bore and simply being a "Closure" to the story.. instead they made it into one movie thats about 2 hours. Special Effects were good, I enjoyed the characters, and Like mentionied above this movie ended with closure. Long in the middle sort of.. but there is a lot of story they gotta tell and at least they did it in one movie. I recommend anyone that has Brothers to go watch this with them, there is a really heartfelt underlying message by the end.

I completely disagree with TheRaider on this.
You must be very easily spooked or scared. I sat through the whole movie, did NOT jump or get spooked once. I didn't even go "that's nasty/gory". They ruined this movie, it was just awful.

Prince of Persia : Sands of Time - Absolutely GREAT! Really, really, really good. This is probably one of the best game-to-big screen adaptations so far!

Shrek 4 - They save the best for last... well, I was wrong... It's good, on par with the rest, but not the way to end the Shrek series.

    Re: Last movie you watched

Went to the first movie in almost 5 years Friday.

Date Night. Slow start but from the midpoint on it was very funny. 8 of 10.
